Shopify Venture Theme Related Products

Shopify Venture Theme Related Products

A theme that was recently launched on the Shopify Theme Store is the Venture Theme which at first glance looks really great. It is one of the first themes that I have seen to offer a Mega Menu by default and the free price tag is always a good incentive for new clients who are just starting off. One of the big features that is missing from the Venture Theme is a “Related Products” section on the product page. Having related products on the bottom of your product page is a vital engagement tool where you can promote products and can help increase sales.

Why this was left out I am not exactly sure but it is something that we feel everyone who uses this theme is going to need. Perhaps, at a later date, and updated version of the Venture Theme will be released which has “Related Products”. For now you are going to have to manually update the themes files to make this work.

UPDATE: Shopify have introduced a feature called Sections which means this tutorial no longer works. Check out our new tutorial using sections
